    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Instrument Panel Illumination

      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Front Interior Light

      • Rear Interior Light
      Electrical Key Transmitter Sub-assembly-linked When any door is unlocked using the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Footwell Light

      • Front Interior Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Power Switch Illumination
      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off*1.

      Power Switch-linked 1 When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off*2.

      When the power switch is changed from on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.
      Power Switch-linked 2 When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn on.

      When the power switch is turned from on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn off.

      Battery Saving When no changes occur in the condition of the doors for 20 minutes, these lights turn off.

      Tech Tips

      *1: Illuminates for approximately 15 seconds, fades out over approximately 0.9 seconds and goes off. Illumination time can be selected from 15, 30 and 7.5 seconds using the customization function.

      *2: Stops the illumination, starts to fade out immediately (fades out over approximately 0.9 seconds) and goes off.

      *3: The instrument panel illumination comes on with a flowing effect.

      *4: Illuminates at a reduced level to max level.
