AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The AA80E 8-speed automatic transmission [8-speed Super Electronic Controlled Transmission (ECT)] is used on 2WD models.

    2. A gate type shift lever is used.

    3. A multi-mode automatic transmission is used.

    4. A high-response shift feeling has been achieved for F SPORT through the use of a shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch), and through the use of the gear hold control, high response upshift control and blipping downshift control on the multi-mode automatic transmission control of the electronic control system.

    5. The drive mode select with a large-size dial knob and the SNOW mode switch are installed on the combination switch assembly, thus allowing the drive mode to be changed between ECO, COMFORT*, NORMAL, SPORT S, SPORT S+ and SNOW.

    6. A function to display a warning message on the multi-information display in the combination meter when the ATF temperature is high is provided on F SPORT.

    7. A Gear Shift Indicator system is used.
