The theft deterrent system can sound the alarm when somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle, open the engine hood, unlock any door without the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly, or when a battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected.
The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts, a security horn and a security indicator light.
The system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
The 2015 models have been modified from the 2014 models as shown below:
The location of the hazard warning lights have been changed from inside of the headlight assemblies to the front turn signal light assemblies.
A warning performed by the side turn signal light assemblies has been added (destination package for South Korea).
In accordance with the design change of the air conditioning control assembly, the location of the security indicator light has been changed.
