BODY STRUCTURE GENERAL

  1. OUTLINE

    1. Lightweight and Highly Rigid Body

      1. High strength steel is used to ensure safety and achieve a lightweight body.

    2. Safety Features

      1. In order to distribute impact force around the cabin and reduce floor displacement, reinforced panels and the placement of structures has been optimized.

    3. Rust-resistant Body

      1. Rust-resistance performance is enhanced by extensive use of anti-corrosion sheet steel, as well as by anti-corrosion treatment, which includes the application of anti-rust wax, sealer and anti-chipping paint, to easily corroded parts such as the doors and hood panels.

    4. Low Vibration and Low Noise Body

      1. Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine, wind and road noise.

    5. Aerodynamics

      1. Optimization of the shape of the body and underfloor ensures excellent aerodynamic performance.

  2. MAJOR DIFFERENCE

    1. The 2015 models have been modified from the 2014 models as shown below:

      1. A newly designed front bumper, radiator grille, headlights and engine hood have been adopted.

      2. Newly designed fender panels, front and rear door panels, side rocker moldings and front pillar garnishes have been adopted.

      3. A newly designed rear bumper, luggage door, rear garnish, rear combination lights have been adopted.

      4. The shape, thickness or material of some noise reduction parts have been changed to improve noise reduction.
