AUDIO SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. The 11CY model audio head unit is used.

    2. A USB adapter has been provided in addition to the conventional external input terminal AUX to play the audio data of various media (USB type) on the vehicle audio.

    3. On models for Australia with a navigation system, an antenna for Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) is used.

    4. On models with a heated windshield defroster, a roof-mounted shark fin navigation antenna is used.

  2. BLUETOOTH AUDIO SYSTEM


    1. The Bluetooth audio system enables users to enjoy music played on portable players or cellular telephones (with built-in audio player) from the vehicle speakers via wireless communication.

    Tech Tips


    • The cellular phone or portable player must correspond to the following specifications in order to be connected to the Bluetooth audio system. However, note that some functions may be limited depending on the type of portable player.

    • The following profiles must be supported:


      • Bluetooth Core Specification Version 1.1 or higher (Version 2.1 + EDR recommended)

      • Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) Version 1.0 or higher (Version 1.2 recommended)

      • Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) Version 1.0 or higher (Version 1.4 recommended)

  3. USB ADAPTER


    1. A USB adapter has been provided next to the conventional AUX adapter on the front console as an external input terminal.

    2. For models with the navigation system, the USB audio signal input from the USB adapter is output to the multi-media interface ECU. The multi-media interface ECU converts the audio signal to the audio applicable data and outputs it to the multi display. In addition, the USB information is output to the multi display via the AVC-LAN. The audio signal is output from the multi display via the MOST communication system. Visual Signal (NTSC) is out put from the multi-media module receiver assembly to the multi display.

    3. For models without the navigation system, the USB audio signal input from the USB adapter is output to the multi-media interface ECU. The multi-media interface ECU converts the audio signal to the audio applicable data and outputs it to the radio receiver assembly. In addition, the USB information is output to the radio receiver assembly via the AVC-LAN.
