AIR CONDITIONING


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Automatic air conditioning using left / right independent temperature control and neural network control is used.

    2. A multi-zone automatic climate control has been provided, which independently regulates the outlet air temperature for both the front and rear seats and the automatic air conditioning using the neural network control to improve climate comfort all occupants.

    3. For further comfort enhancement for rear passengers, the rear cooler unit is provided on the automatic air conditioning with left/right independent temperature control setting models, and the rear air conditioning unit is provided on the multi-zone automatic climate control setting models.

    4. The air conditioning system has the following features:

      High Performance
      • Neural network control is used so passengers can control the air conditioning accurately for maximum comfort.

      • The cooling box is available. The ejector arranged inside the refrigerant pipes is capable of allowing refrigerant to flow to the cooling box without cutting off the refrigerant flow to the air conditioning unit, thereby improving air conditioning performance and ensuring the refrigeration ability.

      • The sub-cool accelerator system has been provided. This system consists of inner and outer pipes, and is capable of improving the cooling performance because of its effective heat exchanging design.

      • The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater system is used. This system contains a PTC heater that heats the air that has passed through the heater core to ensure proper heater performance.

      • A pollen removal filter, which removes pollen, is used as the clean air filter.

      • Pollen removal mode control is used to remove pollen in the area around the upper part of the bodies of the driver and front passenger.

      • For further enhancement of heater performance, a viscous type power heater has been provided depending on models.

      • The blower control has 7 levels in manual mode and 31 levels inn auto mode for more precise control.

      Lightweight
      • A BUS connector with a built-in IC is used in a lightweight wire harness design with a reduced number of wires.

      • The use of this connector means that pulse pattern type servo motors are used.

      Compact
      • A rotary compact air mix door requiring less operational space is mounted in the front air conditioning unit.

      • A blower motor with a built-in blower motor controller is used in a compact construction.

      Others

      The following parts are used to ensure high cooling or heating performance while realizing a compact and lightweight construction.
