General

1. A daytime running light system is designed to automatically illuminate the headlights (Lo beam), clearance lights, license plate lights, and taillights during the daytime to keep the car highly visible to other vehicles.

2. The main body ECU controls this system.

3. This system is enabled when the conditions given below are met:

   
   

   • Ignition Switch ON

   • Engine Speed Signal Input

   • Light Control Switch OFF, or AUTO position (if headlight-on control is not being performed by the automatic light control.)
