  1. Design Concept


    1. A credible atmosphere appropriate to the "King of 4WD" is expressed, thus giving a design with the appeal of a strong, tough image.

  2. Front Design


    1. The headlight and radiator grille are constructed together, functionality is dispersed throughout the upper portion and a strength reminiscent of a Land Cruiser has been expressed by increasing the height of the front bumper.

    2. The sides of the hood and both edges of the front bumper have a planed metallic image, thus expressing strength.

    3. The headlights have a traditional construction, with round lamps surrounded by a strong frame and protruding side turn lights. Moreover, the construction has evolved into a functional construction with aligned LEDs, thus giving a design which combines tradition with newness.

    4. The radiator grille has a feeling of solidity and thickness which extends to the headlights, giving a design reminiscent of a Land Cruiser.

    5. The radiator grille expresses strength and a feeling of precision by combining plating with a horizontal bar that has an angular cross-section, and through a construction which features a horizontal bar and an outer frame with a sense of depth.

    6. The LED side turn signal light is provided on outer rear view mirror.

  3. Rear Design


    1. Models with Lift-up Type Back Door


      1. A design which is consistent with the front is used, and a construction in which each part has a feeling of continuity gives a wide-looking design.

      2. While having the same design as the headlight, a solid, functional design is given to the rear combination light by adding a fine lens cut to give a high quality feel.

    2. Model with Swing Type Back Door


      1. A model with swing type back door has been provided for G.C.C. countries, Australia and general countries. Together with this, the following new components, which differ from those provided for models with the lift-up type Back Door, are provided exclusively for models with the swing type back door.


        • The rear combination light has been given a new shape, and the installation location has been changed. The rear turn signal lights, which protrude in the wide direction, are provided in the upper area, giving the rear view silhouette a square shape (as opposed to the circular rear view silhouette of models with the lift-up type Back Door) and thus enhancing the rugged impression with an aim to strengthening the originality of the Land Cruiser Station Wagon.

        • The back-up light has been moved from the back door to the rear bumper.

      2. On GX grades, the "LAND CRUISER" emblem on the rear license garnish has been plated, thus producing a high-class feel.

      3. The specification of the step in the upper part of the rear bumper is exclusive to models with the swing type back door, in consideration of the appearance of the vehicle when the swing type back door is opened.

  4. Side Design


    1. Wide, thick protection molding is provided on the base of the doors. Plating is located in the upper part of the protection molding to give a strong side view.
