Whiplash Reducing Structure
A structure, which provides support for the whole area from the head to the waist at the same time during a collision while providing a thick seat back pad, is used to help reduce whiplash injury.

The side frame shape of the seat back assembly has been made highly rigid. As a result, the seat back assembly can support passengers to prevent them from falling backward in a collision.

Manual Lifter
The front seat uses a manual lifter. The entire seat can be vertically moved by operating the vertical adjusting handle on the outer surface of the front seat cushion.
The manual lifter consists of the vertical adjusting handle, lifter gear and lifter rod, thus accommodating various body types.

Walk-in Mechanism with Memory Function
A memory function that returns the seat back and position to the angle and position where they were before moving has been incorporated in the walk-in mechanism that tilts and slides the front passenger seat forward for rear seat passengers to help them easily get in and out of the vehicle.
The seat back can be made to tilt and slide forward by pulling up the lever located on the seat shoulder, improving ease of operation.

CONSTRUCTION
Front Seat
Manually adjustable front seats have been provided.
The front seat back has been scooped out and made slim to offer additional knee room for rear passengers.

Rear Seat
A folding function is employed in the seat back for both the 60/40 split type and the united type rear seats to improve the usability and convenience.

Child Restraint System (CRS)
ISO-FIX bars (child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assemblies) for securing child seats have been provided behind the seat cushion of the rear seat.
CRS top tether anchor bars for securing a child seat have been provided on the rear seat back frame.
