ENTRY AND START SYSTEM

  1. OUTLINE

    1. The entry and start system has been provided as the optional equipment.

    2. The entry and start system including the following 2 functions has been provided to increase convenience.

      1. The entry function by which the doors can be unlocked when the door outside handle is held while the user is carrying the smart key, and also that the doors can be locked when the lock sensor on the door outside handle is touched.

      2. The start function is operated by simply pressing the engine switch (push start switch) while carrying the key. When the engine switch (push start switch) is pressed, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) turns on/off the ACC relay, IG1 relay and IG2 relay to switch the power source pattern.

        • The power source mode changes depending on depression of the brake pedal*1 or clutch pedal*2 and the shift lever position*1.
