FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM


  1. OUTLINE


    1. A MacPherson strut type independent suspension is used.

    2. Through the optimal specification of components, the front suspension offers excellent riding comfort and controllability.

    3. For GRMN, a special suspension that decreases the vehicle height by 10 mm, compared to that of the standard models, is used. The constant values of the front coil spring and front stabilizer bar have been revised and the damping force of the front shock absorber assembly has been tuned to optimize the rolling posture during cornering, thus delivering excellent vehicle maneuverability and stability.

    4. For GRMN, the bush characteristics of the front lower arm have been revised to optimize the total balance of the suspension.

    5. For GRMN, the front center upper suspension brace sub-assembly and the front suspension member brace sub-assembly are additionally provided to improve the body rigidity.
