OUTLINE
The 2ZR-FE engine is an in-line, 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter, 16-valve DOHC, supercharged engine with intercooler.
This engine uses the Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (Dual VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS) and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). These systems have been developed to achieve high performance and fuel economy, and reduced exhaust emissions.
