OUTLINE
The 1KR-FE engine is a 1.0-liter, 12-valve DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder gasoline engine.
This engine uses the Direct Ignition System (DIS), Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) system and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). It has been developed to realize high performance, quietness, fuel economy and clean emission.
