  1. OPERATION


    1. Mirror Heater (Models with Automatic Air Conditioning)


      1. When the power source is turned to ON and the defogger switch is pushed, this system is activated to keep the mirror heaters and defogger heater on for approximately 15 minutes.

      2. When the outside temperature is approximately -3°C (26.6°F) or below and the vehicle has been driven at approximately 45 km/h (28 mph) or more after the mirror heater has been used continuously for approximately 15 minutes, the system operation time will be extended by a maximum of 45 minutes.

  2. FUNCTION


    1. The outer rear view mirrors have the following functions:

      Function Outline
      Electric Remote Mirror Remote Control Function The adjustment axis of the mirror surface of the electric remote mirrors can be controlled by using the outer mirror switch assembly.
      Power Retractable Function*1 The retractable outer mirror switch can be used to retract the outer rear view mirrors.
      Mirror Heater*2

      • The mirror heaters use a heater element in both outer rear view mirrors to help defog them.

      • The mirror heaters are controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
