SEAT HEATER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The main components in the seat heater system have the following functions:

      Component Function
      Front Seat Cushion Heater These seat heaters are sewn into the internal surfaces of the seat cushion and the seat back. It warms up the seat surfaces using the heat caused by electrical resistance.
      Front Seat Back Heater
      Seat Heater Switch By operating this switch, the seat heater system is turned on or off.

  2. FUNCTION


    1. Seat Heater System


      1. The seat heater system is controlled by the thermostat in the seat heaters.


        • When the temperature of the seat heaters reaches approximately 40°C (104°F), the thermostat will block the current and the temperature will decrease.

        • When the temperature of the seat heaters decreases to approximately 30°C (86°F), the thermostat applies current again in order to warm the seat heaters.

  3. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Seat Heater Switch


      1. Every time the seat heater switch is pressed, the seat heater system is turned on or off.

      2. When the seat heaters are on, the indicator light of the seat heater switch will also turn on.
