FUEL LID OPENER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The fuel lid opener system consists of the following components:

      Component Function
      Fuel Lid Opener Switch Pressing the fuel lid opener switch located on the driver side instrument panel causes the fuel lid to unlatch.
      Fuel Lid Lock Assembly

      • The fuel lid lock assembly consists of a built-in motor that opens the fuel lid via a link.

      • If the fuel lid lock assembly malfunctions, the fuel lid can be opened manually by pulling on the emergency opener that is provided on the fuel lid lock assembly.
