  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Defogger Switch Inputs the defogger wire operation signal into the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
    Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly Operates and controls the window defogger system in accordance with the signals from the defogger switch.
    Defogger Wire Applies electrical current to a defogger wire installed in the back door glass to remove fogging from the back door glass.

  2. SYSTEM CONTROL


    1. When the engine switch is turned on (IG) and the defogger switch is pushed, this system is activated to keep the defogger heater and mirror heaters on for approximately 15 minutes*.

      Tech Tips

      *: Continues for a maximum of 270 minutes in accordance with conditions.
