WINDSHIELD / WINDOW GLASS SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Deicer Switch Operates the windshield deicer system.
    Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly Operates and controls the windshield deicer system in accordance with the signals from the deicer switch.
    Windshield Deicer Wire Applies electrical current to a windshield deicer wire in the windshield glass to generate heat and remove ice from the windshield glass.

  2. SYSTEM COTNROL


    1. The windshield deicer system is activated when the engine switch is turned on (IG) and the deicer switch is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier assembly keeps the front wiper deicer on for approximately 15 minutes.
