*: On models with a navigation system, two similar devices cannot be used at the same time.
Videos stored in video equipment such as an iPod or VTR can be displayed on the multi-display by connecting the video equipment to the AUX port using a dedicated 4-pole AUX cable.
Tech Tips
Even if 3 or more USB devices are connected using a USB hub, only the first 2 connected USB devices will be recognized.
In order to display iPod video, it is necessary to connect an iPod to the USB and AUX ports using a dedicated iPod video cable and dedicated 4-pole AUX cable, and then select "video sound input" from the "iPod Settings" screen.
Depending on the specifications of the 4-pole AUX cable used for connecting video equipment such as an iPod or VTR, the video function may not operate correctly. Use a dedicated 4-pole AUX cable when using the video function.

MAIN FEATURES
Sound Library (Models for China)
On models for China with navigation system, a sound library function is used.
This function stores the music of the CD that is inserted in the CD player onto the HDD.
Tracks from a CD are recorded at 4 times the normal play speed.
Album, artist and title names for recorded tracks can be input or edited freely. These names can help you search for a track easily.

MirrorLinkTMFunction (Models with Lexus Display Audio System)
To utilize the MirrorLinkTMfunction, it is necessary to connect a compatible smartphone* to the multi-media module receiver assembly using a USB cable.
Tech Tips
*: This function is not available if the smartphone is not compliant with MirrorLinkTMof Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC).
After a connection is established, the screen of the smartphone is displayed on the multi-display. Using this screen, the user can operate applications installed on the smartphone and listen to the audio of the smartphone via the vehicle speakers. Operation via the smartphone is also possible.
Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE)
A 7.0-inch Wide Video Graphics Array (WVGA) monitor is used for the television system. In addition, Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are used to provide mercury-free backlighting. This reduces the burden on the environment and ensures brightness.
By using an LCD Artificial Intelligence (AI) function, the brightness of the scene on the LCD monitor is automatically detected and brightness, color depth and contrast of the backlight is controlled to optimize the contrast.
A menu screen exclusive to the rear seat entertainment system is provided, thus enhancing operability of each content selection.
