OUTLINE
A Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) is used.
This system is a suspension control system which combines the 2 contradictory performance features of on-road driving stability and off-road driveability.
MAIN FEATURES
The KDSS has hydraulic cylinders positioned on the front and rear stabilizer bars, and controls the operation of the stabilizer bars by switching a hydraulic circuit using electronic control.
When driving on-road, the passage of fluid between the front and rear hydraulic cylinders is blocked and the effectiveness of the stabilizer bars is utilized to suppress the roll of the vehicle while cornering.
During off-road driving, the passage of fluid between the front and rear hydraulic cylinders is opened and the effectiveness of the stabilizer bars is restrained. In this way, the suspension stroke is maintained, and off-road driveability is improved.

PRECAUTION
Before removing a stabilizer control cylinder, make sure to drain the fluid from the bleeder plugs for the upper and lower chambers, as the contents are highly pressurized.
After installing a stabilizer control cylinder, make sure to bleed air from the system.
