  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The ECM uses the park/neutral position switch assembly and the transmission control switch to detect the shift lever position.

    2. The park/neutral position switch assembly sends the P, R, N, D and NSW signals to the ECM. The ECM also sends signals to the shift position indicator "P, R, N, and D" in the combination meter assembly via CAN.
