    1. While the vehicle is being driven in vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode, the vehicle-to-vehicledistance setting can be changed each time the distance control switch is pressed, asfollows:

      Mode Vehicle-to-vehicle Distance*
      Long Approx. 50 m (160 ft.)
      Middle Approx. 40 m (130 ft.)
      Short Approx. 30 m (100 ft.)

      Tech Tips

      *: While driving at a vehicle speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).

    2. If the engine switch is turned off and back to on, the system will be set to "long".
