OUTLINE
The P410 hybrid vehicle transaxle is used.
Containing a Motor Generator 2 (MG2) for driving the vehicle and a Motor Generator 1 (MG1) for generating electrical power, this transaxle uses a continuously variable transmission mechanism with compound gear unit that achieve smooth and quiet operation.
This hybrid transaxle system uses the electronic shift lever system for shift control. For details, refer to Electronic Shift Lever System.
