Bluetooth Hands-free System

1. Bluetooth is a short-distance, high-speed wireless data communication system that uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band prescribed by the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group).

2. This system enables drivers to place or receive phone calls using a cellular phone without releasing their hands from the steering wheel.

   "Bluetooth" is a trademark owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.

   

Meter / Gauge System

1. A reflective virtual image display meter is used. The system shortens the movement of a driver's line of sight when the driver checks the road conditions and meter display, since the indications on the multi-information display such as the vehicle speed, remaining fuel amount, instant fuel consumption and shift position seem as if they were in the distance.

2. A multi-information display which offers support information for fuel-efficient driving is provided in the center of the combination meter. A side from the fuel consumption and hybrid control system information, warning messages and dynamic radar cruise control system and pre-crash safety system are also displayed on the multi-information display.

3. When the steering pad switch is touched, the touch tracer display to display the switch and finger positions is displayed on the combination meter assembly, reducing the movement of the driver's line of sight.

LED Headlight System

1. An LED headlight system, capable of instantly flashing, and of ensuring a long service life, is used in the low beam headlight.

2. The system includes two consecutively arranged projection lens ensuring excellent visibility and a parabolic cylinder producing a high light diffusion effect, thus further improving the visibility.

Intelligent Parking Assist System

1. The intelligent parking assist system assists the driver's steering maneuver when the vehicle is being parked by indicating the rear view of the vehicle on the navigation display, which is taken by the television camera on the back door. Also this system enables the vehicle to be automatically steered when the vehicle is driven in reverse so that the vehicle can be parked in the target parking position.

Emergency Brake Signal

1. This system blinks all the stop light in emergency braking to alert following drivers, and helps reduce rear-end accidents.

   

Solar Ventilation System

1. A solar ventilation system is used. The system drives the blower motor in the blower unit assembly by using power generated by the solar module assembly, thus suppressing an increase in the cabin temperature.

   

Remote Air Conditioning System

1. A remote air conditioning system is used. The system drives the electric inverter compressor assembly by using power stored in the HV battery through a remote operation of pressing the remote air conditioning switch on the key, thus allowing the air conditioning system to operate.

   

Ecological Plastic

1. Ecological plastic is used for some interior parts. The ecological plastic is made from plants which consume carbon dioxide to grow by photosynthesis. After any vehicle parts that are manufactured from the ecological plastic are used, they are disposed of by thermal recycling with combustion, emitting carbon dioxide into the air. However, this carbon dioxide never increases the amount of carbon dioxide emissions in the air since it is the captured carbon dioxide created in photosynthesis. As a result, petroleum can be saved and also carbon dioxide emissions in the air can be decreased. The following parts are made of 2 kinds of ecological plastic materials.

   
   

   • Injection molded parts made of alloy materials including polylactic acid (PLA) made of plant materials from corn and polypropylene (PP) are used for the cowl side trim, scuff plate and deck trim cover.

   • Form-molded parts that are made of plant oil-based polyurethane materials containing 15% ricinus oil are used for the driver's seat cushion pad.

   

Colored wire harness

1. The vehicle wire harness uses a colored wire harness on which 2 areas are colored in the vicinity of the insulator, thus reducing the kinds of harnesses.
