AXLE SYSTEM GENERAL

  1. OUTLINE

    1. Front Axle

      1. The front axle hub bearing uses a double-row angular ball bearing which offers low rolling resistance.

      2. A 12-point lock nut is used for the front axle shaft nut. Secure and solid fastening is achieved by staking the nut. Once removed, this nut cannot be reused.

      3. Due to an active type speed sensor being adopted, a sensor rotor is provided on the hub bearing inner race.

    2. Rear Axle

      1. The rear axle uses a double-row angular ball bearing which offers low rolling resistance.

      2. The rear axle hub and bearing assembly, in which the axle hub, bearing and hub flange are integrated as a unit, is used. The rear axle hub and bearing assembly incorporates one side of the hub bearing inner race into the axle hub and has an integrated oil seal, thus reducing the weight while maintaining high durability.
