OUTLINE
The 1KR-FE engine is a DOHC 12-valve, 1.0-liter, in-line 3-cylinder power unit.
This engine uses the DIS (Direct Ignition System), VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) system and ETCS-i (Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent). It has been developed to realize high performance, quietness, fuel economy and clean emission.
