METER / GAUGE SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. In consideration of the visibility of the driver, an analog display type combination meter, in which the speedometer and the tachometer are arranged in the center, is used.

    2. An innovatively designed arrow-shaped needle is used for the speedometer and the tachometer and fine lines are printed on the dial face, thus improving the design performance.

    3. The combination meter assembly has a built-in meter ECU and buzzer.

    4. A rear seat belt warning is used to warn the driver to urge rear seat passengers to fasten their seat belt.

    5. The Eco Driving Indicator Light informs the driver of whether the accelerator pedal is being operated in an environmental friendly manner or not.

    6. An oil change reminder indicator light is used to urge the driver to change the engine oil.

    7. A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) multi-information display, on which information such as the odometer, trip meter, cruise information, audio and Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display are indicated, is used.

    8. A gear shift indicator system, which recommends to the driver to shift the lever for eco-friendly driving, is used on the M/T models. For details, refer to the EE53, EE63 or EE65 Manual Transaxles.

    9. An ECO indicator light and ECO OFF indicator light have been provided on the models equipped with the stop and start system. Furthermore, the accumulated amount of idling stop time has been made available to be displayed on the multi-information display. For details, refer to the Stop and Start.
