THEFT DETERRENT GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The theft deterrent system is controlled by the main body ECU.

    2. The theft deterrent system sounds an alarm when any of the following are detected:


      1. The back door being opened without the entry and start system.

      2. Any door being unlocked without the transmitter*1 unlock button, entry and start system*2 or key.

      3. The engine hood being opened.

      4. The battery terminals are removed and reconnected.

      5. The battery terminals are removed.

      6. The vehicle being forcibly entered.

    3. The system consists of door lock control system parts, entry and start system parts*2, security horn and the security indicator light.

    4. The warning methods and timing of the system are listed below.

      Warning Time Approximately 30 seconds
