AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. For the purpose of improving its heating performance, a recirculation air mixing door that can partially mix the recirculation air while operating in the fresh-air mode has been provided in the heater blower unit.

    2. A compact, lightweight, and highly efficient straight flow (full-path flow) aluminum heater core has been adopted.

    3. A clean air filter, which removes dust, has been provided in the blower unit as standard equipment.

    4. A heater is standard equipment on the model for Europe.

    5. A heater is optional equipment on models for general countries except Singapore.

    6. As on the previous model, a rear heater is offered as an option on the double-cab model for Europe.

    7. The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater system is provided as standard equipment for European models only.

    8. The PTC heater is used to improve the heating performance.
