METER / GAUGE SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. An electrical analog type speedometer and tachometer have been adopted. For the tachometer, only Singapore models are equipped with it as standard. For Europe models, it is available as an option.

    2. The red zone on the tachometer is provided with 4200-6000 rpm on Europe models.

    3. On the 1KD-FTV engine models for Singapore, the tachometer display is provided with economy zone (1400 to 2600 rpm) and red zone (4200 to 6000 rpm).

    4. An odo/trip meter that uses LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) has been adopted.

    5. The speedometer, tachometer, and odo/trip meter have adopted a system in which they are operated by the signals received from the CPU (Central Processing Unit) located in the combination meter assembly.

    6. An engine oil change reminder light has been adopted on Europe models.

    7. On the models for Europe, the fuel system warning light is provided as standard equipment.
