OUTLINE
The lubrication circuit is fully pressurized and all oil passes through an oil cooler and oil filter.
A trochoid oil pump driven by a gear engaged with the crankshaft is used.
A water-cooled type engine oil cooler is enclosed in the cylinder block.
Piston oil jets that lubricate and cool the pistons are provided.

MAJOR DIFFERENCE
The major differences between the 1KD-FTV engine mounted in the previous Dyna 100/150 and the 1KD-FTV in the new Dyna 100/150 European models are as follows.
Oil Cooler
The 4-step water-cooled type engine oil cooler used in the previous model has been changed to a 3-step type.
| *A | New | *B | Previous |
| *1 | 3-step Element Type Oil Cooler | *2 | 4-step Element Type Oil Cooler |
Piston Oil Jet
The valve opening pressure of the check valves of the piston oil jets has been changed from approximately 150kPa to approximately 100kPa.
Turbocharger Oil Pipe
The turbocharger has been changed, and changes have been made to the turbocharger oil pipe accordingly.
Oil Maintenance Management System
The indication method for the oil maintenance intervals and the oil maintenance management system has been partially changed. The oil capacity has not changed.
