CONSTRUCTION
Exhaust Pipe
A ball joint is used to join the front pipe and turbine outlet elbow. As a result, a simple and reliable construction for reducing vibration has been realized.
The oxidation catalytic converter is used to reduce the exhaust gas particulates, HC, and CO on models complying with the EURO 4 or EURO 5 emission regulations.
For European models, the exhaust gas purifying function has been optimized through optimal positioning of the two oxidation catalytic converters (directly behind the turbocharger and under the floor).
For European models, a DPF catalyst has been used in the front exhaust pipe. The DPF catalyst reduces the PM (Particulate Matter), HC and CO.
