  1. OUTLINE


    1. A throttle body equipped with a rotary solenoid type throttle control motor is used.

    2. Swirl control valves are provided in the intake manifold.

    3. An air-cooled intercooler is used.

    4. A variable nozzle vane type turbocharger is used.

  2. MAJOR DIFFERENCE


    1. The major differences between the 1KD-FTV engine mounted in the previous Dyna 100/150 and the 1KD-FTV in the new Dyna 100/150 European models are as follows.


      1. Intake Manifold


        • The swirl control valves have been separated from the intake manifold. Furthermore, the valve opening angle control has been changed from 2-stage to 3-stage. As a result, the swirl ratio in the low-middle engine speed range can be regulated to 3-stage.
