OUTLINE
A common-rail system is used in the fuel injection system.
An HP3 type supply pump, which is compact and lightweight, is used.
An injector compensation value and a QR code are printed on the injector to realize high-precision control.
On models for Singapore, a fuel filter warning switch, which turns ON/OFF when the internal vacuum of the fuel filter increases, is provided in the fuel filter.
A fuel cooler is used in the fuel return path.
MAJOR DIFFERENCE
The major differences between the 1KD-FTV engine mounted in the previous Dyna 100/150 and the 1KD-FTV in the new Dyna 100/150 European models are as follows.
Injector
New high-response injectors that are able to withstand high pressure are used. A common-rail and a supply pump with the same specifications as in the previous model are also used.
As with the previous model, the injectors are individually controlled using the QR (Quick Response) code, making them suited to high-accuracy fuel injection control.
Fuel Cooler
The water-cooled type fuel cooler that was attached to the cylinder block has been abolished. Accordingly, the leakage pipe has been partially changed. The air-cooled type fuel cooler is still used.
