    1. 4GR-FSE Engine


      1. The 4GR-FSE engine is a 2.5-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 Direct injection 4-stroke gasoline engine (D-4). This engine uses a Direct injection system, Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS), Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i), Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS), and Electronic Swirl Control Valves (SCV). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.

    2. 2GR-FSE Engine


      1. The 2GR-FSE engine is a 3.5-liter, 24-valve DOHC V6 engine. This engine is a Direct injection 4-stroke gasoline engine Superior version (D-4S) which uses both direct injection and port injection systems. In addition, this engine uses a Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (Dual VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS), and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.

    3. Automatic Transmission


      1. A960E, A760E and A760H 6-speed automatic transmissions are used.

    4. Suspension


      1. An Adaptive Variable Suspension system (AVS) is used.

      2. A double-wishbone type suspension is used for the front.

      3. A multi-link type suspension is used for the rear.

    5. Brake Control System


      1. The following brake control functions are provided: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), brake assist, Traction Control (TRC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), steering cooperative control and hill-start assist control.

      2. The Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) is used.

      1. Power tilt, power telescopic and Electric Power Steering (EPS) systems are used.

      2. A Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) system is used.

      3. A Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) system is used.

      4. The LEXUS Dynamic Handling (LDH) system is used, which consists of the Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) system which controls the turning angle of the front wheels and the Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) system which controls the turning angle of the rear wheels.
