    1. The illuminated entry system has the following functions:

      Function Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked*1
      • When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When a registered key leaves all of the actuation areas around the doors, the lights that operate turn off.


      • Engine Switch Illumination

      • Personal Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      Door Lock/Unlock-linked
      • When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.

      • Ignition Key Cylinder Illumination*2

      • Personal Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Inside Handle Light

      • Footwell Light

      Door Open/Close-linked
      • When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.

      • Ignition Key Cylinder Illumination*2

      • Personal Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      • Inside Handle Light

      • Footwell Light

      Engine Switch-linked*1
      • When the engine switch is changed from off to on (ACC) or on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.

      • When the engine switch is changed from on (IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Rear Interior Light

      When the engine switch is turned from off to on (IG), the lights that operate turn on.
      • Inside Handle Light

      • Footwell Light

      Ignition Switch-linked*2
      • When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When the ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON, the lights that operate turn off.


      • Transponder Key Illumination

      • Personal Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      When the ignition switch is turned from off to ON, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Inside Handle Light

      • Footwell Light

      Shift Position-linked When the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved out of P, the lights that operate dim.

      • Footwell Light

      Delay

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is operated.*1

      • The door unlock-linked function is operated.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.


      • Engine Switch Illumination*1

      • Ignition Key Cylinder Illumination*2

      • Personal Light

      • Rear Interior Light

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • The door unlock-linked function is operated.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.


      • Inside Handle Light

      • Footwell Light

      Battery Saving
      • When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC and ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The battery saving function is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


        • The ignition switch is turned to ACC or ON

        • Any door is opened

        • The luggage compartment door is opened

        • Any door is unlocked

        • The key enters any exterior actuation area*1
