OUTLINE
The theft deterrent system can sound an alarm when somebody attempts to forcibly enter the vehicle, open the engine hood, unlock any door without the door control transmitter assembly*1 or electrical key transmitter sub-assembly*2, or when a battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected.
*1: Models without smart entry and start system
*2: Models with smart entry and start system
The system consists of door lock control system parts, wireless door lock control system parts, a security horn and a security indicator light.
The system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
MAJOR DIFFERENCE
The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:
A warning performed by the side turn signal light assemblies has been added.
In accordance with the design change of the air conditioning control assembly, the location of the security indicator light has been changed.
