STEERING LOCK SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The electrical steering lock system is provided on models equipped with the smart entry and start system. Due to the use of the smart entry and start system, the steering lock system uses a lock/unlock motor to lock or unlock the steering wheel.

    2. This system mainly consists of the steering lock actuator assembly, main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), ID code box (immobiliser code ECU) and certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).

  2. MAJOR DIFFERENCE


    1. The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:


      1. The 3 spoke steering wheel design has been changed.

      2. The 4 spoke steering wheel has been discontinued.
