BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The following brake control functions are provided: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), brake assist, Traction Control (TRC) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).

    2. A VSC OFF switch is provided.

  2. MAJOR DIFFERENCE


    1. The new models have been modified from the previous models as shown below:


      1. The location of the warning lights and indicator lights have been changed on combination meter assembly.

  3. PRECAUTION


    1. When the brake control system is activated, the brake pedal could shudder. This is a normal occurrence of the system in operation and should not be considered a malfunction.

    2. The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.
