LUBRICATION SYSTEM GENERAL


  1. OUTLINE


    1. The lubrication circuit is fully pressurized and oil passes through an oil filter.

    2. A trochoid gear type oil pump assembly is chain-driven by the crankshaft.

    3. The oil filter is attached facing downward from the crankcase to improve serviceability.

    4. The cylinder head is provided with a camshaft timing gear assembly and a camshaft timing oil control valve assembly. This system is operated by the engine oil.
