  1. OUTLINE


    1. The 1AZ-FE engine is an in-line 4-cylinder, 2.0 liter, 16 valve DOHC engine. This engine uses the Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS) and Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent (ETCS-i). These control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.
