FUNCTION
Front Power Seat
The power seat control system can be used to control the driver seat and front passenger seat using the front power seat switch assembly.
The memory function controls the driver seat using by the position control ECU assembly.
Each function of the front power seat operates as follows:
| Function | Outline | |
|---|---|---|
| Manual Control | The user can perform slide, reclining, front vertical, seat lifter, lumbar support, pelvic support*1, cushion length*1, *2, 3, side support*1, shoulder support*2 and ottoman*2, 4 adjustments by operating the front power seat switch assembly. | |
| Memory*5 | Memory | The memory function can memorize 3 different seat positions. |
| Recall | The recall function can recall 3 different memorized seat positions. | |
| Memory Call*6 | The memory call function, which utilizes the key IDs, is used to memorize and retrieve the optimal driving positions for a person possessing the key. | |
| Automatic Away | The slide*6, lumbar support, pelvic support, side support and ottoman*4 move to the rearward, making it easier to exit the vehicle. | |
| Automatic Return*6 | The automatic return function automatically returns the seat to the previous position before starting the vehicle. | |

DIAGNOSIS
The position control ECU assembly has a diagnosis function. It stores a record of any power seat control system failures in its memory in the form of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). DTCs can be read by connecting the Global Tech Stream (GTS) to the DLC3.
