WHEN REMOVING,INSTALLING,REPAIRING OR REPLACING PARTS REPAIR PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

  • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.


  1. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH


    1. A002KYM

      Cut off the shaded area in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Tech Tips

      After cutting off the part, place the upper headlight protector retainer LH against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A002KS1

      Install the upper headlight protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT LH PROTECTOR RETAINER LH


    1. A002KX6

      Cut off the shaded area in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Tech Tips

      After cutting off the part, place the upper headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A002KWO

      Install the upper headlight LH protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH


    1. A002KQP

      Cut off the shaded area in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Tech Tips

      After cutting off the part, place the lower headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A002KR2

      Install the lower headlight protector retainer LH with the screw.
