WHEN REMOVING,INSTALLING,REPAIRING OR REPLACING PARTS REPAIR PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply bracket for low-cost repair.

  • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH

      Cut off the shaded area in the illustration and sand smooth with sand paper.

      Note

      After cutting off the area, place the headlight bracket LH against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply bracket.

    2. A004LCK

      Install the headlight bracket LH with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

      Cut off the shaded area in the illustration and sand smooth with sand paper.

      Note

      After cutting off the area, place the upper headlight protector retainer LH against the bosses and gradually file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A004LHR

      Install the upper headlight protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH

      Note

      After cutting off the area, place the lower headlight protector retainer LH against the bosses and gradually file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A004LBM

      Install the lower headlight protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.
