WHEN REMOVING,INSTALLING,REPAIRING OR REPLACING PARTS REPAIR PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH (for Halogen Headlight)

    Tech Tips


    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply bracket for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Remove the 2 screw.

    2. Remove the headlight bracket LH.

    3. Install the headlight bracket LH with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH (for Halogen Headlight)

    Tech Tips


    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.


    1. A004LKQ

      Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A004LF9

      Install the upper headlight protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH (for Halogen Headlight)

    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Cut off the part shaded in the illustration and smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the headlight protector retainer against the bosses and file away the old retainer if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A004LJ8

      Install the lower headlight protector retainer LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH (for HID Headlight)

    • If the installation area of the headlight is damaged, use the supply bracket for low-cost repair.

    • Make sure that the headlight is not damaged.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the headlight bracket LH.

    3. Install the headlight bracket LH with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER LH (for HID Headlight)
