WHEN REMOVING,INSTALLING,REPAIRING OR REPLACING PARTS REPAIR PROCEDURE OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • If the installation area of the headlight assembly is damaged, use the supply retainer for low-cost repair.

  • Make sure that the headlight assembly is not damaged.


  1. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER


    1. A01MAKL

      Cut off the blue-colored part in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the upper headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A01MALV

      Install the upper headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL UPPER NO. 2 HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER


    1. A01MAOP

      Cut off the blue-colored part in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the upper No. 2 headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A01MAM0

      Install the upper No. 2 headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER


    1. A01MAL5

      Cut off the blue-colored part in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the lower headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A01MAOV

      Install the lower headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER


    1. A01MASS

      Cut off the blue-colored part in the illustration and sand smooth with sandpaper.

      Note

      After cutting off the part, place the lower No. 2 headlight protector retainer against the bosses and gradually file away the old bracket if it interferes with the installation of the supply retainer.

    2. A01MAQ3

      Install the lower No. 2 headlight protector retainer with the 2 screws.
