The thickness of the paint coating on the rear bumper cover has an effect on the performance of the rear millimeter wave radar sensor, as the waves emitted from the sensor pass through the rear bumper during transmission and reception.


  1. REAR BUMPER COVER REPAIR

    • Always check whether the cover has been repaired and painted two or more times.

    • The inspection only determines whether the cover has been repaired and painted before and does not guarantee the performance of the repair and paint.

    • Do not repair the cover using putty.

    • Do not change the color of a metallic paint coating.
