UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL REASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Clean the instrument panel surface.

    2. Align the No. 3 instrument panel cushion with the markings on the instrument panel and install the No. 3 instrument panel cushion to the position shown in the illustration using hot-melt glue or double-sided tape.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

    1. Clean the instrument panel surface.

    2. Align the No. 2 instrument panel cushion with the markings on the instrument panel and install the No. 2 instrument panel cushion to the position shown in the illustration using hot-melt glue or double-sided tape.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. Clean the instrument panel surface.

    2. Install a new No. 1 instrument panel cushion.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Attach the 5 hooks (A).

    2. Attach the 5 hooks (B) to install the instrument panel passenger airbag.

      Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the claw and 3 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel register.

  6. INSTALL NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 2 clips to install the No. 4 instrument panel register.

  7. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    1. Install the No. 3 heater to register duct with the 2 screws <B>.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the No. 1 instrument panel register.

  9. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    1. Attach the claw to install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

    2. Install the screw <B>.

    3. A01IOQG

      Install the heater to register duct assembly with the 2 screws <B>.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    1. Attach the claw to install the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

    2. Install the screw <B>.

    3. A01ITCB

      Install the heater to register duct assembly with the 2 screws <B>.

  11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY LH

    1. Install the instrument panel stay with the 2 screws <B>.

  12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 5 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (w/ Cool Box)

    1. Attach the claw to install the No. 5 heater to register duct.

    2. Install the screw <B>.

  14. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the defroster nozzle with the 3 screws <B>.
