INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Tech Tips
Before performing the following inspection, attempt to restart the heater assembly. If the heater assembly is successfully started, confirm that DTC 051 is not output. If DTC 051 is not output, stop troubleshooting because it can be concluded that the system has returned to normal.
PROCEDURE
INSPECT EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Check that hot exhaust gas is coming out of the exhaust pipes.
CAUTION:
The exhaust pipes and muffler are extremely hot. Wear protective gloves and do not touch these parts with bare hands.
When performing the inspection, wear a face mask to prevent direct inhalation of exhaust gas.
