REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.


  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    A01ISEME01

    1. Align the outer belt positioning holes with the 2 claws and install the retractor of the outer belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01IRKY

      Install the rear No. 2 seat outer belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    3. A01ITRU

      Attach the 2 claws to close the rear No. 2 seat outer belt shoulder anchor cover.

  2. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 6 clips and 7 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

    3. Install the 2 bolts.

      w/ Rear No. 1 Seat:

      Install the rear No. 1 seat belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    5. A01IRRR

      w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:

      Install the rear No. 2 seat belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Connect the rear No. 2 seat outer belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the seat outer belt to overlap the protruding parts of the vehicle body.

  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all the luggage hold belt strikers.


    1. Install the luggage hold belt striker with the bolt.

  5. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE SERVICE HOLE COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to remove the deck trim side service hole cover on the other side.


    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and 2 guides, and remove the deck trim side service hole cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  6. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover.

  7. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    *2 Mark Position

    1. Align the paint mark on the rear door opening trim weatherstrip with the mark position on the vehicle and install the weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    1. Attach the 9 claws and 2 clips to install the rear door scuff plate.

  9. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER

    1. Attach the 6 claws and 4 guides to install the rear deck trim cover.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear No. 2 seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Temporarily install the 2 bolts.

    3. Pull the 2 straps and raise the 2 seatbacks.

    4. Temporarily install the 5 bolts.

    5. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    6. Connect the connector under the seat.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT TRACK COVER


    1. A01IOQC

      Attach the 2 guides and claw.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

  12. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the cover on the other side.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

  13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER LH

    1. Slide the deck trim side belt hole cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and attach the 2 claws and 6 guides to install it.

  14. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 4 claws to install the deck floor box.

    2. A01IN2Q

      w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 3 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

      2. Install the bolt.

  16. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

    1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

    2. A01IPFF

      w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the deck floor box.

      2. Install the bolt.

  17. INSTALL DECK RAIL COVER (w/o Spare Tire)

    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the deck rail cover.

    2. Install the clip.

  18. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY (w/ Spare Tire)

    1. Install the luggage compartment tray.

  19. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

    A01IRW6

    1. Attach the 4 claws and 6 clips to install the deck board.
